CAPUSULE HOUSE-K is a private house designed by Kisho Kurokawa.
It was created based on the concepts of Metabolism and Homo Mobius. This building is composed of the same capsules as the Chugin Capsule Tower Building, which is also a metabolism building, and was completed in 1973, the year after the building was completed.
Until now, it has been open only to a few people and was a little-known building, but in 2019, the restoration was started by Kisho Kurokawa's son, and now it is open to the public with the interior of that time.

Other things to note
It is a very valuable building in architectural history.
We use objects such as posters, lights, and pots, as well as furnishings, chairs, books, and books that have been around since the time of completion, as well as items that have ties to Kisho Kurokawa.
We want you to use this facility as if they were your own.
There is a book corner in the living room with a collection of Kisho Kurokawa's books. Please return the books you have finished reading to their original places as much as possible.
If you are having a tea party in the tea room, please bring your own tea utensils and other items.
Be very careful with fire when using the fireplace.
Firewood is free for up to 2 bundles per night. If you need more than that, please bring it yourself. (Can be purchased at nearby home centers)
If there is damage or significant dirt to the building, interior, furniture, equipment, etc., you will be asked to pay for repairs, cleaning, or replacements.
We have garbage cans for each type of garbage, so please sort it before disposing of it.
Please let me know in advance if you want to bring in and use a hair dryer or heater, which use a lot of electricity, as there is a limit to the electrical capacity of the building.
