Unwind at this family-friendly getaway a few subway stops away from all the sights! This is a rare part of DC where you'll find plenty of parking. Our beautiful, urban-chic apartment is new and lovingly designed with 2 bedrooms and bathroom, along with kitchen and living area. You'll find trails nearby to walk your dog.
The apartment is a 7 minute walk from the orange line Minnesota Ave metro & very close to Capitol Hill, museums, Eastern Market, and the beautiful Aquatic Gardens!
The space
Bright and welcoming with morning sunlight, 9-foot ceilings, and a fresh mid-century vibe—this private one-level apartment is your home away from home in DC.
Enjoy two spacious bedrooms (king and queen, both with blackout shades), a full bathroom, and a fully stocked kitchen. The unit has its own private front and back entrances, with a locked door separating it from our space upstairs.
While there’s no washer/dryer in the unit, we’re happy to provide free laundry service during your stay. We live upstairs and are always available if you need anything.
We have several comfortable and stylish beach and cabin getaways within 1 to 1.5 hours of Washington, DC - check out our profile or send us a message for details.
Guest access
Guests have full, private access to the entire apartment, including a fenced side yard and patio for any pets and a front garden.
Other things to note
We allow reliably house-trained dogs for a $25 pet fee per dog per night for stays under 7 nights. If you want to bring your dog, please let us know:
- If they are 100% reliably house-trained
- The dog's age
We must approve their stay, but we have never rejected a reliably house-trained dog. We do not allow cats or puppies.
We would really appreciate it if you could bathe your dog before visiting.
** If you're not a pet person, note that we are very good at keeping our homes super clean despite hosting pets.
If you are bringing a car, please look out for instructions to register your vehicle online using a code we provide for guests.
** We try our best to be quiet but you may hear steps/sound when we are on the floor above.
** No smoking. No incense. NO PARTIES. This is our home so please be respectful. We have smart systems that document smoke and noise, and charge a $500 fee in case of violations. **
