This bright, thoughtfully furnished apartment in The Docklands on Prestwich Street has Table Mountain on the balcony, the V&A Waterfront ten minutes on foot, and Lion's Head a short drive beyond. Inside it's calm, considered, and set up for work or a proper holiday. Private balcony, rooftop pool, communal braai, secure parking, backup power, 24-hour security. The city at the door.
The space
The Docklands on Prestwich Street is a building that knows what it is — bold architecture, industrial edge, and a address that sits comfortably at the centre of one of Cape Town's most characterful neighbourhoods. The V&A Waterfront is ten minutes on foot. Table Mountain is on the skyline. De Waterkant's streets, coffee shops, and restaurants are immediately outside the door.
The apartment itself is calm, stylish and bright. Double-height ceilings and floor-to-ceiling sliding doors draw the light in all day, opening onto a private balcony where the city stretches out ahead and the sun sets softly across the horizon in winter. There's a small table and chairs out there — the kind of spot that makes it difficult to come back inside.
Inside, everything is considered and comfortable. A fully equipped kitchen for proper cooking. A bright, open living area. A quiet bedroom with a queen bed, hotel-quality linen, blackout blinds, dressing gowns, and air conditioning. A walk-in shower bathroom stocked with quality products.
