The space
Your reservation includes the entire property, designed to bring people together while offering space for everyone to spread out. There are 35 acres available for hiking and exploring!
Cabin – The heart of the hideout, with a fully equipped modern kitchen, spacious island seating, comfortable living areas, and restful bedrooms. Gather for meals, unwind by the wood stove, or simply enjoy the floor-to-ceiling windows framing canyon views.
Bunkhouse – A private, self-contained space with a kitchenette, seating area, and TV. Perfect for extended family, friends, or teens who want their own retreat. Special bonus-- the game room in the garage space!
RV Site – Hookups available for those traveling with their own rig, giving flexibility for multi-generational trips or guests who prefer their own space.
Tent Site – A rustic fire-ring spot for stargazers and campers who want to sleep under Wyoming’s wide-open skies. You must provide your own tent.
After a day of adventure at Devils Tower, Keyhole State Park, or local trails, return to the hot tub or sauna to relax. Dedicated hot tub towels are provided. In the evenings, gather around the fire pit, play games in the garage-style game room, or rock on the deck while watching the sunset over the canyon rim.
Set on a rare peninsula bordered by 100-foot ravines, Canyon Hideout offers privacy, tranquility, and sweeping views. You can hike around the home and explore- in fact, we encourage it! The dramatic presence of Devils Tower nearby makes this retreat as inspiring as it is comfortable.
We also encourage our guests to use surrounding wooded area to collect firewood for their stays!

You will have access to the entire property during your stay. Included in the stay will be the main cabin, bunk house, RV site and Tent site.
Directions to the property are as follows:
When heading north on Hwy 14 turn right on to Thorn Divide Rd. Go for about half mile until you see a sign on the telephone pole that says 71 Thorn Divide with an arrow. Turn left, go down the driveway past 2 cattle guards, turn right, go past shop and up the driveway for the house.
Other things to note
Guests must bring their own firewood for the fire pit or may collect among the wooded area on the property- in fact, we encourage that!
This home comfortably accommodates up to 12 guests. Our booking site is set up for parties of 10, so if your group is larger, just give us a heads-up and we'll add a small $75 per person fee for guests 11 and 12. We appreciate you keeping us in the loop — it helps ensure everyone has a smooth, enjoyable stay!

We are pretty secluded and surrounded by a land peninsula. You may hike around the property and down the ravine but please be courteous of our neighbors and stay off of their property.
