A beautiful staircase gives it a unique, classy feel. Tastefully decorated to hotel standards. Fully newly equipped kitchen with everything you need. Dining area in our spacious living room. Local tweed and culture features strongly in the flat. You will be comfortable and rested, before heading out for your island adventures.

The space
Situated in the heart of Stornoway, Isle of Lewis our spacious flat, "Canisp", is in the perfect location for touring throughout Lewis and Harris.  Spend your days visiting the island's beaches and landmarks before returning to Canisp* for all your home comforts. Named after the iconic mountain in Assynt on the mainland, our first floor flat spread over two floors nestles in the Stornoway rooftops with a lovely view over to Lews Castle from the single room. Formerly the attic above a bakery, the 4 bedroom flat sleeps 7 comfortably (plus cot).  The unassuming exterior belies the light and airy atmosphere inside.  Decorated and maintained to a high standard, with a gorgeous internal feature staircase, the flat includes hotel standard soft furnishings and decor throughout.

You will have the whole spacious flat to yourselves. You access the flat via a street level door & stone stairwell shared with 2 other flats. You go up the stone stairs and then reach the door to Canisp, 21 Church Street.
You enter into the large cloakroom/entrance hall and then another door leads to the beautiful staircase, hallway and all 4 bedrooms, 2 toilets, kitchen and dining/living room)

Other things to note
A spacious, two-storey flat accessed from the street by a doorway and one flight of stairs. Inside the flat: The entrance cloakroom, kitchen, dining/ living room, one double bedroom and WC/shower room are on entry floor. Three more bedrooms (Kingsize, Twin & Single) & 2nd toilet are upstairs, accessed by a stunning spiral staircase.

In your car you can travel to all the beaches, landmarks and places of interest on the islands of Lewis and Harris.
