Our midcentury cabin features a charming, open-concept mountain layout:
• Main House (Downstairs): King bed, wall mounted tv, attached toddler room with crib, & a workspace.
• Main House (Upstairs): Two cozy bedrooms (one King + Twin; one Queen + Twin) both equipped with private AC. Please note, these upstairs rooms use thick privacy curtains instead of traditional doors.
• Detached Bunkhouse: A private loft featuring a Queen bed, two Twins, a sitting area, and private AC.

The property boasts a dedicated, converted garage game room featuring a pool table, shuffleboard, and dartboard with the 4th bedroom upstairs. Perfect for teens!

• No Parties: We cater exclusively to quiet family groups and responsible adults.
• Essentials: Minimum booking age 25. Extra-long, flat driveway accommodates 4-5 cars comfortably. Exterior security cameras monitor the perimeter for safety.
Guest access
Guests have full, private access to the entire main house and the detached game room bunkhouse (with the exception of locked owner closets). Both spaces feature smart locks for seamless, easy self-check-in.
• Parking: Our extra-long, flat driveway comfortably accommodates 4-5 vehicles.
• Accessibility Note: The driveway and main entrance require only a single step up. The exterior walkway can be slightly uneven in places but is generally manageable with assistance.

The main house first floor is largely childproofed and well-suited for families with little ones. We provide three futons, one pull-out couch, and a baby bed for flexible sleeping options. Sleds are provided for winter, and pool floaties are available for summer lake days. Please supervise young children closely around the pool table and steel-tip dartboard.
🐻 WILDLIFE & TRASH RULES
Bears and wildlife are common here. Please keep vehicle doors locked and never leave food or trash outside or in cars.
• All trash must go inside the secured bear box.
• We provide one large trash bin and one recycling bin. Anything that does not fit must be taken with you upon checkout.
• Excess trash can be dropped off for free at the nearby Avery Transfer Station (4541 Segale Road), check hours online. A $100 fee applies if our maintenance team has to haul extra trash.
🌲 MOUNTAIN LIVING & WEATHER
Cell service can be spotty; please download offline maps before heading up. Because we are in a natural forest setting, occasional cobwebs or mountain insects or critters may appear despite professional cleanings - this does not reflect the cleanliness of the cabin.
Open fires are strictly prohibited by Calaveras County—please enjoy our no-fuss propane porch firepit instead.
No EV charging on-site, but fast chargers are available nearby at Big Trees Market.
❄️ WINTER TRAVEL & SNOW
Our driveway is professionally plowed once snowfall reaches 4 inches. Please check the Blue Lake Springs webcam and CalTrans Highway 4 updates before traveling.
You must carry tire chains during winter months. Power outages can occur during extreme weather or wildfire seasons—flashlights and lanterns are provided. We do not offer refunds or cancellations due to weather.

Both buildings are equipped with gas heaters. The upstairs bedrooms include portable air conditioning units and space heaters, complemented by ceiling and portable fans throughout the property for year-round comfort.
