The space
Sleep under the stars of the Sahara
Wake up in the middle of the desert, with silence as your only companion and a horizon of dunes all around you. Our camp in the heart of the Moroccan Sahara offers an authentic experience, far from noise and rush.
The space
Two traditional small houses with floor mattresses in the Berber style, a haima (nomadic tent) for meals, a shaded area with palm trees, rugs and a hammock to rest, and an outdoor space with a swing and fire pit. All under a sky full of stars with no light pollution.
Breakfast included
Every morning you'll have breakfast with local products in the haima. We can also prepare lunch and dinner, including vegan and vegetarian options. If you want the full experience, ask us for bread cooked in the desert sand — a ritual you won't forget.
How to get there
On foot (45 min on flat terrain), by 4x4 or by camel. If you want to arrive by camel, let us know in advance and we'll book one for you. We depart from Ksar Bounou.
Price
30€ per person/night including breakfast. Groups of 5 or more: contact us before booking for a special rate.

Other things to note
How to get to Ksar Bounou:
If you’re coming from Marrakech, you can travel to Bounou by private car, private taxi, shared grand taxi, or CTM bus. If you choose to travel by CTM bus, make sure to select the one that goes to M'hamid el Ghizlane. There is one bus daily, which departs from Marrakech at 11:30 AM and arrives at 9:30 PM. The bus makes 8 stops, including Ouarzazate (4:15 PM) and Zagora. The closest stop is after Tagounite, in Ouled Driss and Bounou (in front of Kasbah Draa). If you inform the bus driver, he will know the stop. Let us know in advance, and we will be waiting for you at the bus stop. If you prefer a private taxi, send us a message, and we can connect you with private drivers.

How to get to the camp:
If you want to arrive by camel, please let us know in advance, and we will reserve camels for you. The journey on foot or by camel takes approximately 45 minutes and is a flat path. It’s one camel per person. (The price of the camel ride is separate). We depart from Ksar Bounou.
