Completely renovated 17th-century house located between Barcelona and Tarragona in Catalonia's premier wine region of the Penedes but also just 10 min from the beach. It's ideal for walking and visiting the many wine and cava companies in the area. We've transformed the old house into an airy, confortable, relaxing home that's perfect for couples, small groups of friends and families with children. Enjoy all different cultural leisure pursuits the region has to offer, including its wine tourism.

The space
The house has on-site parking in the same building. On the ground floor there's a double room with an ensuite bathroom. All the other rooms are on the first floor: another double room, a twin room that opens out onto a small terrace, the main bathroom and a living-dining room with an open-plan kitchen. There's a 15 m2 terrace on the same floor as well.

The property is located in an attractive small town overlooked by a medieval 11th-century castle, just 50 minutes from Barcelona and 25 minutes from Tarragona (declared a World Heritage site by UNESCO). The beautiful beaches on the Costa Dorada are also close by (Calafell, Comarruga, Salou, Sitges, etc), as well as Port Aventura theme park and the Caribe Aquatic Park, now including Ferrari Land.
The region has a large number of sites of cultural interest: the Iberian Citadel at Calafell, the House-Museum of the famous cellist and composer Pau Casals, an old aviation field from Spanish Civil War, the Roman remains of the ancient city of "Tarraco", and much more.
And, of course, thanks to its wonderful location, you can also enjoy a wealth of activities and experiences related to the world of wine and cava offered by "Enoturisme Penedes": hiking, mountain biking, slow biking, activities in the vineyards, gastronomy and wine/food pairings, etc.
