Nestle up at Cabin at the Crossing and enjoy a one-of-a-kind view of Fort Valley, Virginia! The Fort is a hidden gem within Shenandoah Valley, offering a plethora of hikes, coveted public hunting access, fishing holes, OHV trails (2.5 miles from cabin), and so much more adventure! Whether you are looking for a place to explore or a relaxing getaway, you’ll find it all at Cabin at the Crossing.
The space
Cabin at the Crossing sits atop a hill in an area known to locals as King’s Crossing and offers extraordinary views of Fort Valley, the valley within a valley. As you walk in the front entrance to the living room, you are welcomed with a panoramic overlook of the historic Massanutten mountain range. There are two bedrooms, both outfitted with queen sized mattresses. A full-sized futon is also available for guests in the family room. There are two full bathrooms, one includes a bathtub, the other a standing shower, along with a stackable laundry unit. In the kitchen, you’ll find many amenities including a pot and pan set, small crockpot, griddle, glassware, baking sheets, cookware utensils, and plenty more necessities. The coffee bar offers a Keurig and a few complimentary pods of coffee and tea. There is also a reusable pod, so feel free to bring your own coffee or tea as well! The living room offers comfortable seating in front of a smart TV placed over the mantle of the wood burning fireplace (currently not open). The cabin sits in a wooded area, so please come prepared with bug spray and other means of protection to endure the wilderness in the backyard! The back porch has a propane grill and a covered patio table that seats six, offering a perfect place to enjoy the idyllic surroundings.

Guests will not have access to the garage, nor the utility room.
Other things to note
• Bugs are prevalent in the area! Please be sure to keep the windows and doors closed to keep pests from entering the interior. Be aware that bug spray is essential when outdoors!
• Unfortunately, the Wifi is affected by poor weather in the area. Please keep this in mind when booking!
• The property has well water. We have a whole house water filter but it is different than city water.
• If you have any allergies or special requests, please letus know at the time of booking so we can try and accommodate and/or make sure you will be comfortable.
