Welcome to Cabernet Hill, a private hilltop studio overlooking fruit orchards and Mount Adams. This peaceful retreat is perfect for couples or solo travelers looking to relax and unwind. Enjoy a glass of wine by the fire table from our neighborhood wineries, plan a delicious meal using our full kitchen, or grab a tasty meal from our list of recommendations. Our digital guidebook has all our local favorites to plan your stay well!
The space
This private studio guesthouse is located on our property, just behind our detached garage, and features its own separate keypad entrance for a fully private and convenient stay. The space has been completely renovated and thoughtfully designed with your comfort and relaxation in mind. From the start of Ingalls to our house is about a mile of dirt and gravel road.
Guests have dedicated parking behind the garage, with space for up to two cars and a trailer if needed.
Our location is within walking distance to nearby wineries, including Freehand Cellars, or just a quick 5-minute drive away—perfect for enjoying the area’s wine country.
Guest access
The room temperature can be easily adjusted using the remote control located on the wall behind the bed.
You’ll have full access to the entire Airbnb space, as well as the private patio area behind the garage—perfect for relaxing during your stay.
Laundry detergent is provided for your convenience.
The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to prepare meals at home.
Please note: the buttons on the refrigerator are not currently working; however, the filtered water, ice maker, and cooling functions are all working perfectly.
For added comfort, you’ll find a sound machine and portable speaker in the nightstand, as well as a quiet air purifier located next to the armoire.
Other things to note
Our home is located on a private gravel road. Depending on the time of year, you may see farm workers caring for the surrounding orchards. If so, we kindly ask that you drive slowly for everyone’s safety.
If possible, we recommend arriving during daylight hours, as there are no streetlights on the road leading to the property.
We also have two 1 year old dogs: Daisy, a Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix, and Boone, an Australian Shepherd. Daisy is shy around new people, so it’s best to give her space and avoid direct attention as she warms up.
Boone is afraid of his own shadow, we hope he grows out of his fears as he gets older lol
Please drive slowly on the driveway to help keep both dogs calm and discourage their natural herding instincts 😊

Born in the 80s

My husband and I met on the east coast but jobs brought us to the Pacific Northwest, ten years later, we’re still extremely happy with our choice to move and grow our family here. We bought this house as a fixer upper, and have been making it our home from the start. We hope you enjoy your stay and come see us again!
