Other things to note
We are a SERNATUR-certified local tour operator, we know the area and can offer you an immense quantity of activities to complement your stay with us. (Ex: Trekking, Kayaking, Biking, Archery, Backcountry Ski/Snowboard, Cultural Immersion, Gastronomy, etc...)
Staying in our off-grid cabin is an invitation to experience this self-sufficient lifestyle. The cabin is powered by solar energy, water comes from a spring that rises on our land, and wood for heating comes from trees that have fallen on our land.
All of this means that electricity, water and heat must be used as efficiently and effectively as possible, simply because they are finite resources.
There is no phone signal in our land or wifi in the cabin. If you were to need (basic) internet connection during your stay, there are common areas where you can connect.
This place is perfect for disconnecting and surrendering to rest, and contact with nature.

Where you’ll be
Lonquimay, Araucanía, Chile
Although completely immersed in the forest, we are a comfortable 10 minutes from the town of Lonquimay. There is no noise from the city, and you will very rarely run into any neighbors in the surrounding area. While there is plenty of space to walk around the property, it is possible to explore the surrounding area as well.
There are many trails to walk or hike, without the need to take the car.
In the winter you can use the snowshoes at the cabin to walk around, or hike from the cabin to the various backcountry trails around here.

My work: Tourism & Off-Grid
I'm obsessed with: Outdoor activities and animals
Hi! I'm Javi and I live in the woods in southern Chile. I love being in nature, taking care of my garden, and doing sports in the open.
Together with my partner, we decided to leave the city and come to live in the mountains of Lonquimay to reconnect with nature and live a simple and quiet life.
The idea is to share this beauty with those who visit us in the cabin we built with our own hands and with great affection.
