Place yourself in the country on 60 Acres with 4 miles of trail amongst the trees and a creek. You'll have access to this preserved natural area that is great for birding, biking, hiking, and more. The living quarters are a 2 bedroom house that is on the 2nd floor with deck overlooking the creek and wooded area. Bedrooms have 1 queen, 1 full, and a futon mattress.
The space
You won't have to drive for ages down a bumpy dirt road to get the very secluded country feel you'll find at Burnt Acres. We're on a convenient paved road with a lot of fun opportunities in all directions.
The trails and creek access are right behind the house.
It is a great place to work on your fitness or simply relax and enjoy sounds of the creek and birds.
Visit our website for more information and videos.
Guest access
Feel free to use all of the land and there is ample space for parking multiple vehicles, including trailers. The bottom floor of the house is a garage under construction. This area is separated from your space with a privacy curtain behind the entrance door and stairway. The separate shop and barn to the north are not available for guest use.
Other things to note
The 3rd story has a vaulted loft with a short ceiling that people of above-average height may bump their head. It is a great space for kids or a cozy area to lounge sitting down, but don't plan to hang out and walk around up there much. There is one bedroom there with the full size bed.
The house has the basic amenities (e.g. cookware, dining utensils) to stay self-contained for days if you stock up before arriving.
We have both a drip coffee maker and Keurig. We have ground coffee and filters on hand and sometimes some pods, but bring your own pods to be sure if you want to use the Keurig.
We have good cell phone service and a booster inside the house as well as Starlink wifi
