Find serenity in a historic Swiss village by turquoise Lake Brienz! Brienz Villa on Alpgasse is a stylish home with breathtaking views, ideal for 1 or 2 families. It's a 5 min walk to swimming/lakeside restaurants, 15 min to the train/ferry. Treat yourself to a luxurious vacation and discover the Bernese Oberland from here!

The Villa has 2 units -you rent the main levels of this beautiful home. A lower apartment, with separate entrance/garden, is also rentable.

All the furnishings are new and of good quality. Windows have retractable shutters for privacy.

On the entrance level is the spacious entryway, guest bathroom, kitchen, dining room, and large living room with fireplace. The kitchen is well-equipped (including microwave, raclette, fondue, rice cooker, kettle, Nespresso machine, milk foamer.) From the kitchen and living room you have direct access to the large private patio with a beautiful view of Lake Brienz and surrounding mountains!

The 4 bedrooms are on the upper floor. 1 bathroom with shower, toilet and sink is accessible to all. The other bathroom with corner bath, shower, toilet, double sink is connected to one of the bedrooms w/ King bed. On request we provide a baby bed for toddlers up to 3 years old and a high chair.

The washing machine and dryer are in the basement and is shared with the guests of the lower apartment.

The lower apartment is also rented on Airbnb. It has own private entrance and garden area. If you prefer to rent both units together, please inquire.

Other things to note
The walk to the house from the train and ferry stations takes about 15 minutes. The path via Feldstrasse has the easiest, most gradual incline with an elevation gain of about 35 meters or 115 feet.

Stroll through the charming village to view the artisanal wood-carvings and historic chalets, or explore the outskirts and enjoy spectacular lake and mountain views. It is a 5 minute walk to charming Brunngasse, Migros, and the pedestrian friendly lakeshore promenade where one can go for a refreshing swim or dine in numerous restaurants. The Coop, train station, ferry stop, and historic steam train Brienzer Rothornbahn are a 12 minute walk away. Enjoy beautiful hiking directly from the house, or take a short drive to Brienz's outdoor Ballenberg museum. The historic Lake Brienz ferry ride can take you to Iseltwald ( greetings to CLOY fans), Giessbach Falls, and Interlaken. Drive the scenic route along the lake to Interlaken for shopping, spa, skydiving, golf, horse riding and much more. Visit other towns or go skiing in Grindelwald, Hasliberg orAxalp. There is simply too much to do to list everything!

(Please note our village is NOT the one being threatened by landslides - that town has the same name but is 200 miles away in the Swiss state of Graubuenden.)
