The perfect place for groups of up to 12 or a get away for 2. Located at the head of the Branxholm to Derby Trail and 8 km from the famous Blue Derby mountain bike Trails and floating sauna. The Bunk House features a large modern lounge and dining area with cooking facilities and flat screen TV to relive your daily rides. Free WIFI available. Covered outdoor BBQ entertaining area and open space to roam with a fire pit (firewood supplied). Bike wash down area and storage. 1 night stays avail.
The space
Your booking secures exclusive use of the Bunk House regardless if you book for 2 people or 12 people. The ideal place to stay for couples, families and groups travelling to ride Derby's world class mountain bike trails or wanting a central location to explore North East Tasmania’s waterfalls, golf, beaches, fossicking, wineries and more.
Comfortably sleeping 12 it is perfect for large families or families, groups travelling together.
Room 1 has 2 single bunks and a queen bottom single top bunk.
Room 2 has 2 single bunks and a queen bottom single top bunk.
There are 2 showers and 3 toilets located in a separate building only meters away.
Washing machine, dryer and bike washdown and storage.
We can accommodate 1 night stays. Contact us to discuss.
Plenty of room to park multiple cars , trucks or additional vans.
Located close to forests for the adventure motorbike riders and hiking enthusiasts, and only 40 minutes from some of Tassie's best wineries.
We also have so many wonderful restaurants here in Branxholm and nearby Derby. Message us for reservation suggestions.

BBQ with side burner, toaster, kettle, coffee machine, large covered entertaining area, full indoor kitchen, 3 toilets, 2 showers (bathroom is accessible via outside door) , bike wash station, bike storage area. Washing machine, dryer and clothes line. Wifi. Fire pit.

We can arrange BBQ packs and lunch boxes are available at an additional cost. Tea, coffee, coffee pods and condiments provided
The Bunk House is located on our family property which was an old primary school. We live in the main school house and the Bunk House is a separate building. We have a dog called Odin and a cat called Dexter. Both are very friendly, please don’t be worried if Odin barks he likes to welcome guests! They both love people and lots of pats, however please don't let them inside.
The front gate will need to be closed at all times.
