Adjacent to the old Provençal farmhouse of our estate, we offer for rent a recently renovated annex.
Our domain (in organic agriculture) and the gite are located in the heart of the vineyards of Roquemaure in the Lirac appellation and very close to Avignon and the A9 freeway exit.
It is a farm gite with dogs, cats and chickens, the exteriors may be rustic but the gite offers all modern comforts and shared access to the pool with us (June to September).
The space
The accommodation is located on the second floor of an annex on a surface excluding terrace of approximately 70m2.
It is composed of the following rooms:
Living room composed of a kitchen open to the dining room and a lounge area below. This space is air-conditioned.
The kitchen is equipped with an oven, a microwave oven, an American fridge with freezer and ice cubes, a dishwasher, a Nespresso coffee maker and a filter coffee maker, a toaster and a kettle, as well as standard dishes.
The lounge area is equipped with a television with access to the main French channels. Possibility to stream on the television.
A terrace with a wrought iron table (the terrace is shaded in the morning and sunny from noon) and two deck chairs (the installation of an electric barbecue is planned).
Two adjoining bedrooms (you have to cross the master bedroom to get to the second bedroom). Each room has a private bathroom with shower and toilet.
!!The access to the second bedroom and bathroom, as well as to the washing machine is provided only from 3 persons or more!!
The parental room is equipped with a double bed. The second room is equipped with two single beds of 1,80m on the mezzanine (these two beds are not suitable for big persons and heavier than 65kg) and a sofa bed in the lower part.
The master bedroom is air-conditioned while the second bedroom is equipped with a fan on the mezzanine.
The house is equipped with electric blinds (beware the blinds are not 100% blackout and the house is not yet equipped with curtains).
You can access the WiFi network.
Bed linen and towels are provided and included in the price.
Guest access
You will have a private access to the accommodation with terrace and a parking space at the foot of the accommodation.
Another parking lot which can accommodate a camping car is located 150m away.
The accommodation being next to our house, the outside spaces are shared. A moderate access to the main garden in front of our house (children's games) is possible and to be agreed together.
You will also have access to the swimming pool shared with us. In order to enjoy quiet moments, it is recommended to go to the pool in the morning.
Other things to note
We draw your attention to the fact that this is a farmhouse on a farm.
Do not hesitate to ask us any questions you may have. Our goal is to make your stay as pleasant as possible.
Access to all other enclosed parts of the estate is not allowed.
Farm equipment and other tools may be in the vicinity and you should keep your distance. Children must be supervised in this regard.
The swimming pool (available from June to September) is partially enclosed, children are not normally allowed in the pool, but permanent supervision of your children is still required. Use of the pool is at your own risk as swimming is not supervised. Do not jump off the edge to avoid any risk.
There are several pets on site (dogs, cats, chickens) that are used to humans and do not constitute a danger as long as you act normally towards them. For their tranquility and your safety, do not bother the animals, do not run after them and do not carry them.
Also be careful with plants, some of them have fearsome thorns.
Please also note the following points:
- the two rooms are adjoined which can be a nuisance for some groups/families;
- the second room is not air-conditioned and it can be hot (we have however provided a fan)
- there are basins so there may be mosquitoes;
- as this is a vineyard, it is possible that noisy agricultural machinery is in operation very early in the morning.
The default monthly discount of 40% only applies to the months of November, December, January, and February. For the months of March, April, May, September, and October, it is 25%. For the months of June, July, and August, it is 15%.
