Wonderful stay in the middle of the woods on the Veluwe and close to the Zandvertuiving!

The chalet has a lot of privacy, an infrared sauna and a garden of 350m2 with a beautiful veranda where you can relax and where children can play undisturbed.

The chalet is located on a 4-star Capfun Park and there is plenty to do for young and old.

There is an outdoor heated swimming pool with water slides, a petting zoo, several playgrounds!

The space
You won't get bored here because this is a wonderful cycling and walking area!

The garden offers a lot of privacy, but is still centrally located on the campsite. The large veranda of 20M2 allows you to sit outside all year round.

In the shed is a wonderful infrared sauna. So you can relax after a day out!

We have chosen a comfortable and homely chalet.

The intention is that our guests feel right at home.
The chalet is large enough for max 4 adults + 1 child.

We have installed our own WiFi in the chalet and provided (smart) TV where you can watch TV and movies via Netflix, Videoland, Prime or NLziet

For children and adults there are games ready in the flap / coffee table. There are also books in it if you want to relax.

The children can play on the playground equipment or sandbank outside in the garden.

For the master bedroom we have chosen a box spring bed of 180 x 200 cm with two single duvets
The other bedroom has a trundle bed with two single duvets.

A camping cot is available on request.

Would you like to have beds made on arrival? no problem, we ask 12.50 per person. And otherwise you have to bring it yourself

For maximum comfort, we have a spacious corner sofa in the living room that can be extended to relax on or to sleep on.

The dining table has 4 chairs and is large enough to work on or play games .
We also ensure that you are welcomed with something delicious ;) and you can immediately have a cup of coffee or tea!

Central heating has been installed in the chalet, so it is wonderfully warm and we have a fireplace outside for the atmosphere.

In the bathroom we have provided mini shampoo, mini conditioner, and mini toothpaste and there will be a toilet roll. There is also a toilet in the bathroom. There is a spacious sink and plenty of storage space.

You need to bring your own bathlines

In the kitchen we ensure that there is a dishcloth and tea towel available.

We do ask that you do the dishes and leave the chalet tidy.

We have made an information folder in 2 languages, it contains all information about the chalet, camping de Scheepsbel and the surrounding area.

Guest access
The chalet has its own parking space. So you can leave your car at the chalet. There is room for 1 car.

- Please note: Parties, loud music and noise are not allowed after 00:00.

Neighborhood highlights

The veluwe is very populair!
Our guests love the beautifull nature around us for active hikes and cycling trips.

From the park it is a 5 minute walk to the sand drift where you can enjoy the nature and the peace and quiet. On the other side of the sand drift, there is a small private zoo with camels, zebra, buffalos etc.

You have old towns and villages in the area like: Harderwijk, Elburg, Epe, Doornspijk, Nunspeet, Hattem, Zwolle.

Also here are a lot of Zoo's and Theme parks:

- Apenheul (primate park)
- Dinoland (theme park)
- Julianatoren (theme park)

Welcome to our oasis on the Veluwe! Geertruida and Ray here, your welcoming hosts from Arnhem. We rent 8 enchanting chalets in various locations, including 6 hidden in the woods of Doornspijk and two in Hoenderloo, in the middle of National Park de Hoge Veluwe. Bike, just walk or recharge your battery in the nature. Time for relaxation? Book one of our chalets. Enjoy bird song, expansive gardens and tranquil forests - welcome home!
