Other things to note
While this tent is beautifully appointed, you are still camping! You will inevitably share your space with a critter or two! Please also note that you are in rural OH—cell service is spotty. *Please ensure you check the weather before booking. When rain is forecasted roads and camping areas are seasonal and can be difficult for parking and ascending our upper platform areas. Most all wheel drive vehicles are fine. *Tent is equipped with wood burning element. However, please be prepared to layer and stay bundled at night when weather gets colder.
1. All gear must be hiked in and out--trash, compost, etc. Please try to leave your site as you found it or BETTER!
2. Campfires are permitted when weather conditions are favorable. Guests may gather fallen wood--please do not cut from live trees. Upon leaving, please make sure ashes are spread out and put out with water.
3. Please do not tamper with trail cams on the property!
4. Hunting is never permitted on the property. Feather Ridge backs to the Zaleski State Forest, with access to 28,000 acres of public land for whitetail and Turkey hunting. Please obtain all required state permitting. For more information about the State Forest please visit official websites.
5. Campers must maintain quiet hours from 10pm-7am (please use proper judgment on weekends and respect other campers’ when playing music etc.)
6. Campers must stay within the perimeter of the property unless hiking into the state forest. Our property is marked every 50 ft with a “yellow” mark to indicate our side of the property and “purple” to indicate the outside of our property. We recommend dropping a pin if you’re not using a hiking app before you leave the property to ensure you can find your way back.
