In a private woodland, a three-level house designed in 1962 by architect Luisa Castiglioni in the modernist tradition overlooks the mouth of the Magra River and the Apuan Alps. The house is reached only on foot via 150 steps through the trees. Without air conditioning, each space has been restored in keeping with its original character—places for those seeking silence, nature, and a balanced way of living between architecture and landscape.

The space
The apartment consists of: a twin bedroom with staggered bunk beds and a desk facing the forest; a small double bedroom cleverly carved out of a space within the living room; a fireplace; and a kitchen with a large cantilevered window overlooking the greenery and offering a glimpse of the sea.
