Extra spacious

Guests love this home’s spaciousness for a comfortable stay.
Blue Ridge Postcard View is a deluxe 2 Bedroom, 2 Bath west facing condo at The Reserve at Sugar Mountain with beautiful long range, layered mountain views at 5200 ft. elevation. It is close to all that the High Country area offers, such as skiing/snowboarding, snow tubing, hiking, waterfalls, whitewater rafting, golfing, tennis, wineries, fine local restaurants, and of course, the Blue Ridge Parkway! A few minutes drive gets you to any of the area attractions!

The space
Enjoy a morning with coffee or an evening sunset on the 300 square foot deck with a 180 degree mountain view, The main living area has a million dollar view to the west, widescreen TV, a table that seats six, a bar with barstools, and a bistro table with two barstools as well. The master bedroom has amazing views from the king size bed. There is a wide screen TV, access to the deck, a jetted jacuzzi tub in the spacious bathroom, as well as a tiled, oversized shower. The second bedroom includes a queen bed, TV, and shares a full bath with the living area. The condo has a washer and dryer, WiFi, cable, and a gourmet kitchen with a Keurig and a regular coffee maker, and everything you need to prepare meals during your stay.

Of note for those with mobility issues, there are two half flights of stairs going down to access the condo.

Enjoy area attractions such as Grandfather Mountain, Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster, Linville Falls, Tweetsie Railroad, etc.

Due to elevation, the average temperature is 20 -25 degrees cooler than the Charlotte/ATL/Eastern NC areas, and approximately 10 degrees cooler than other “mountain towns” due to the high elevation. Because of this, it is required during the winter months that you have a 4WD or AWD vehicle due to snow and/or ice. There is no refund for not being able to reach the condo due to weather conditions.

Guest access
Roads posted as private property within The Reserve are available for guests to use at anytime. At the end of the property at the very top, there is a short trail to the top of the rock outcropping that can be seen looking to the right from the deck. Feel free to use this area for great views and sunsets!

4X4, and sometimes tire chains as well, are required to reach the condo in the winter months. There is always snow, and the village does a great job of salting and scraping the roads regularly, but at any given time the steep hairpin turns can be treacherous. The Banner Elk Exxon at 115 Main St sells tire chains if needed

Other things to note
Trash dumpsters are located just off the property by the entrance. A map is posted in the condo should you need to dispose of any trash.
