The a/c is for sleeping only. They can be started around dinner time. There is a large unit on the main floor and one upstairs. We have many fans for downstairs and outside. If you want to run the a/c during the day, there will be an extra cost of $20/day.

Avellanas is undergoing a growth spurt now. The Esquina was built in 2022 and has 4 restaurants and a weekly Friday night market with vendors and music. It's only 500 meters away or a 5-minute walk!
Another beach nearby is also known as Little Hawaii for its amazing surf breaks for beginners to pros.
Located 20-30 mins south of Tamarindo. Here you can easily access everything you need and then return to the tranquil lifestyle of Playa Avellanas. Howler monkeys live amongst us in the trees!
There's also Hacienda Pinilla just 8 minutes away where you have golf, tennis, pickleball, and a beach club at the Marriot Hotel.
