You will hear various songbirds and sometimes coyotes after dark!

Shaw woods trails, fishing, swimming at Mink Lake or Lake Dore.

The space
7 steps up inside to main level. Totally private three bedrooms, dining room, living rooms, bathroom with tub and laundry and large balcony.

Towels, shower gels, shampoo, bedding provided.

I love to say hello and give you the quick tour if I’m home, but after that keep to myself and respect your privacy and am often working at my 100 acre property nearby.

Home is non smoking. Smoking/vaping is accommodated outdoors on private patio deck/porch away from windows.

Laundry detergent and soaps provided are no or low scent. You are welcome to do a load of laundry during your travels.

Stays longer than 30 days are welcome; inquire.

Relax in your three bedrooms on the main level of this artistic country home or use the kitchen to prepare food and enjoy on the deck with trees and birds. Or the owner, who lives on property (basement level with her own separate entrance), can suggest many restaurants to explore! She has delighted in decorating it to inspire JOY and loves sharing the space with visitors on airbnb!

This private space is the main floor of a home that has myself and two quiet roommates in lower level. This is ideal for tourists or ppl needing a homey space to stay while visiting or working in the Ottawa Valley, or who need to prepare their own special diet meals while on vacation!

It’s ethical: renting it on Airbnb doesn’t take any home away from the rental market and it’s also not for profit. I am happy that I can manage to pay my bills while helping folks have an affordable and artistic place to live for a night or a month! Thank you! 😊

Once you’re up the 7 steps, it’s all at one raised level.

One guest said she liked it so much she didn’t want to leave, but added, “but you have to because there is so much to explore and do around here!”

Other things to note
Due to owners own sensitivities and the undue harm it will cause other occupants of the home, we are unable to accommodate service dogs. We encourage you to use the Airbnb pet “filter” when searching so that you can enjoy the Ottawa valley fully with your furry loved ones.

I have two cats 🐈‍⬛ that usually stay in the basement but they may appear to say hello so if you have cat allergies….best to choose another location.

Deep well water 💦 that is mineral filtered with a Culligan tank system in the basement. No salt or chemicals.

Your space is upstairs. I live downstairs with my daughter and a roommate. You may encounter them in the driveway.
