The space
The Cheff Ranch is situated in a picture-perfect mountainside setting, overlooking the breathtaking Mission Valley, where we run cattle and raise our Tennessee Walker studs and 90 head of horses on 160 stunning acres. Guests can choose to take part in a horseback ride, or embark on an adventure to explore the beautiful surroundings our ranch and western Montana have to offer, or go for a dip.
* 2 hour, guided horseback rides (extra charge), miles of private trails.
(*horseback rides are $140 per rider with a weight limit of 250lbs and a minimum age of 8 years old. Must be able bodied to participate in horseback riding. )
Once you arrive, you’ll enjoy accommodations in one of our guest cabins and you’ll experience the first-rate hospitality that the Cheff Ranch has to offer. We do our best to make you feel at home.
And for those days when taking it easy is the goal, you can breathe in some fresh mountain air and the scent of fresh pine and fir trees as you relax on the ranch lawn. The Ninepipe National Wildlife Refuge is just below us in the valley, where you can enjoy ample opportunities for fishing and bird-watching.
We are a nature and history lover’s paradise. Minutes away we have Flathead Lake (the largest freshwater lake in the Western United States), the National Bison Range, Ninepipe Museum of Early Montana and the Jesuit Mission in St. Ignatius. Just a short, two-hour drive away are Glacier National Park and Hungry Horse Dam, both of which are well worth the trip.

Ranch Amenities:
2 hour, guided horseback rides (extra charge), miles of private trails. Private pond to relax by.

The cabins are one bedroom with a queen size bed and a futon in the living room that makes out to a double bed . There is a complete small kitchen and a bathroom and a picnic table and BBQ on the deck that overlooks the valley. We do also have trail rides that they can schedule when they arrive or before it is $80 per person for a 2 hour guided ride. The rides are available from middle of May through Sept. 10th. The cabin guest are welcome to walk around the Ranch or swim in our small lake. There are trails around the Ranch that guests are welcome to. If they are going to go on a hike or a longer ride then 2 hours they need to purchase a Tribal recreation permit in the local Sporting Goods Store.
Other things to note
They will need to stop at a grocery store either before they arrive or go into the local grocery store to stock up for their stay. Check in time is 3 pm and check out is at 11 am.

Neighborhood highlights
We are the last place at the base of the Mission mountains and have a awesome view that overlooks are meadow and the valley below. You can see deer and wild turkeys and sometimes a bear or elk around the property. The sun sets are beautiful and the big blue sky and stars at night.
