You will be staying in the heart of Ballarat in your own beautifully appointed room within a piece of history at Bishops Palace, a Heritage listed Gothic mansion. For those interested in history, this is a unique opportunity to become immersed in the brilliant architecture of the 1800’s.
Bishops Palace is one of the most imposing houses in Ballarat.

The space
This privately-owned home offers peace and tranquillity, set amongst picturesque gardens which are heritage listed, you can enjoy strolling around, or sit and enjoy a good book or a glass of wine.
There is plenty to do in Ballarat. The pretty Lake Wendouree is a one-minute stroll, and we would recommend visiting Sovereign Hill and the Eureka Stockade attractions, the Arch of Victory, the Botanical Gardens, and dining at the many fabulous restaurants/cafes located very nearby.
The Palace would be ideal for both individual stays, Weddings or would be great for company retreats, as we have accommodation for up to 12 guests.
