Neighborhood highlights

Dartmouth is a quaint and beautiful side of the Halifax/Dartmouth municipality. Within a 5 minute walk, you can find your self next to one of three lakes. The largest, Lake Banook, is home to many boating and canoe competitions - not to mention its locals enjoying the waters for fishing, stand up paddle boarding, swimming and lakeside walks.

The area is close to everything you would need to get around and enjoy your time. There is a grocery store up the street along with some newer and delicious restaurants. If you are looking to take Dartmouth by foot, a 15 minute walk will put your right downtown Dartmouth where you can enjoy local music, food, drinks or hop on the ferry at Alderney Landing and explore Halifax on the other side of the harbour.

If anything, don't forget to stop at Sullivan's Pond to see the famous white geese who call the pond home 9 months out of the year. If you are lucky, you will get to witness how they cross the streets by using the crosswalks - just like people!
