Slow living and tranquility are what describes the mood of staying in the tents. With very little distractions, you will be able to switch off and unwind from a daily routine.

The tents are a perfect weekend getaway from Muscat, or a great stop along the way, touring through Oman.

Owned and managed by two brothers, who are thoughtful in looking after you during your stay.

The tents need a Fourwheel drive and some sand driving experience, but a shuttle service is offered too.

Bidiya is the city on the Northern tip of the Wahiba Desert, recently renamed to Sharqia Desert. An oasis with palm groves, a big fortress, Bidiya was the summer residence for the Bedu who would live and work on the coast on the South end of the desert. Until today, they will cross the distance of 160km between their different settlements.

In Bidiya, you will find shops for basic amenities and lots of agricultural goods. You can shop for Halawa, a typical Omani sweet dish made from date molasses and spices, or other produce like dates and dry fish.

The people of Bediya are mainly from the Wahebi tribe and take big pride in their lands and customs and are happy to have you stay with them.
