This 20ft top-of-the-line bell tent offers a peaceful glamping stay in Lakebay, WA, with a separate heated bath hut and small cook hut. Enjoy Puget Sound views, gorgeous sunrises and sunsets, deer in the yard, and bald eagles overhead. Stay cozy with central heat, AC, lights, Smart TV, Wi-Fi, and a Google hub. Includes a queen bed, plus an optional 4-person tent and pack ’n play upon request.
The space
We originally hosted guests in a 20-foot Cheyenne tipi, but after five years in the Washington weather, we replaced it in January 2026 with a comfortable 20-foot bell tent.
The bell tent is located about 600 feet downhill from the main house behind a gated entry. The site is private and peaceful, but the hill back up to the house and parking area is steep. Guests need to be comfortable walking uphill and on uneven ground. Because of the terrain, we do not recommend this stay for guests with mobility limitations.
We are happy to transport you and your gear downhill when you arrive and back uphill when you depart.
Inside the bell tent, you’ll find a queen bed, two sleeping bags, two air mattresses, central heat, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, Smart TV, Firestick, DVD player, charging station, and a voice-activated hub for music, alarms, and weather. We can also provide an additional four-person tent for extra guests if needed.
The separate kitchen hut was added to create more space inside the bell tent and provide a safer cooking area. With pots, pans, spice rack, cooking utensils, mixing bowls, and a three propane burner stove top. Inside the bell tent is a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, dinnerware and cutlery for four, plus coffee, tea, sugar, creamer, and condiments.
The heated bath hut includes a flushing toilet, hot shower, double copper farmhouse sink, and environmentally safe shampoo, conditioner, and soap.
Outside, enjoy the propane fire pit and s’mores under the stars. Guests also have access to the jacuzzi and sauna near the main house, with towels, robes, and his-and-hers Crocs provided. A gas BBQ, table, and chairs are also available near the main house for outdoor meals with a beautiful view.
For recreation, guests may use the archery range, axe and spear-throwing target, kayaks, and two folding mountain bikes with helmets. Gear use is included at no extra charge. Please review the house rules before using any equipment.
We do not charge cleaning fees or gear rental fees. The nightly rate shown is the rate we set, plus Airbnb’s guest service fee and applicable taxes. For groups larger than four, we charge $20 per additional guest, per night. For larger groups, please message us before booking so we can discuss what we can do for you.
We love sharing this peaceful property with guests and have tried to include as many comforts and extras as possible while keeping the stay affordable and unique.
We do have a profession video for viewing on the well known internet video site, search for "Tranquility in the Woods: Bear Ridge Oasis" and you will find it.
Guest access
Guests will receive a remote control for the front gate. Once on the property, you’ll have access to the private bell tent area, heated bath hut, kitchen hut, sauna, jacuzzi, outdoor BBQ, archery range, and walking trails.
Please note that some areas of the property are steep and uneven, and the trails can be challenging.

OUR APPRECIATION FOR NATIVE AMERICAN HERITAGE & HISTORY:
Our property is located on the beautiful Key Peninsula in the greater South Puget Sound and Salish Sea region, an area with deep Coast Salish history and living Native communities. We are not Native American and do not claim to represent any tribe or specific cultural tradition, but we deeply respect the history, land, waterways, wildlife, and people connected to this region. That respect has also been shaped by many years of military service alongside close friends and fellow service members of Native American descent, whose friendship, service, and pride in their heritage we deeply appreciate. Some rustic design elements on the property reflect appreciation for the outdoors, local history, and the natural character of the Pacific Northwest. We welcome guests from every background and hope the space offers a peaceful, comfortable, and respectful place to rest and enjoy the beauty of the area.
DISCOUNTS:
