Wake up to tranquility and wildlife at this bayside location on the Mississippi River. Uniquely perched at the water’s edge, the fresh bright interior design provides modern comfort and stunning views of the private bay and river through expansive windows. If you are looking for a quiet respite and a change of scene, this cozy gem shuts out the noisy world and allows nature to remind you how important it is to rest and reset.

The space
Bayside Hideaway includes a full kitchen with island, all new appliances, and a dining area that comfortably seats 4-6 people. not only is there a cozy living room/TV room, but also an additional sitting room overlooking the bay. The all new modern bathroom has a walk-in shower with rainfall showerhead, handheld wand showerhead, and foot clean spout, and also includes a washer and dryer.

BEDROOMS
The bedrooms are cozy and quiet with dressers and small hanger area for hanging light clothing. For more clothing hanging space the entry closet can be used. This design enables maximum use of t the bedrooms for comfort and mobility. There is a queen bed in one bedroom and 2 twin beds in the other bedroom which can be converted to a king bed upon request.

NEIGHBORS
There is a neighboring cabin next door and a neighboring house farther away. If you're seeking total seclusion you will come close here, but please note that there are couple of neighbors. There is plenty of privacy within the interior space. While the cabin next door is close, there are some trees that help provide a natural semi-private feel and the neighbors keep to themselves but may take a moment to say hello. Please request further information if you have any concerns about privacy.

SPECIAL NOTE
A few neighboring homes have friendly dogs that occasionally wander through the area, including our property. While they are not aggressive, they may bark or stop by to say hello.

We provide their names so guests can greet them or kindly direct them home. If needed, we’re happy to contact the neighbors to have the dogs called back.

Please note: while we’ll do our best to minimize their presence if requested, however, we cannot guarantee a completely dog-free outdoor environment, as this is part of the local culture.

There will be no dogs indoors, except for registered service animals accompanying guests.

OUTDOORS
There is outdoor furniture and a fire pit. We are sometimes able to provide firewood but it is not guaranteed. Please check with us prior to to arrival, many gas stationsnin the area carry bundles for a modest cost. There is a back deck overlooking the river. We also provide a small charcoal grill with charcoal, lighter and lighter fluid provided, and a bocce ball set.

Guest access
Guests may use all areas of the property within property boundary except the garage (locked with no guests access), and in the house guests have access to all parts of the house with the exception of a couple mechanical closets and an owner's closet. A plan is in place for emergency access to these spaces.

DOWNTOWN AND DINING

A few favorite downtown restaurants

A.T. The Black and White is a long-standing favorite whose current owners are Le Cordon Bleu trained chefs.

Ciao Thyme is run by chef Scotty who was born and raised in Little Falls, and is recently returned from the lucrative Brainerd Lakes vacation area.
Also downtown are cute shops, Great River Arts Center, a hair boutique and more!

Café Strolaga is just up the road and specializes in gourmet coffee.

GROCERY, QUICK EATS, AND CONVENIENCE STORE

If it’s Caribou or other fan favorites you’re looking for head just east of downtown and in 5 minutes you’ll have your pick of many of your favorite fast food places. Also, in this eastern part of town there is Coborn Grocery and Walgreens.

OUTDOORS

For kids, and the playful at heart, the schools offer a great outdoor place (when school is not in session) with a lot of field space, an elementary playground and (if open) a ¼ mile track for running.

If you’re looking for outdoor activities, check out the Soo line hiking/biking trail (2 miles away), McDougal’s Homestead (4 miles away), Little Falls Golf Course (4 miles away), Maple Island Park, Lindberg State Park, and the Little Falls Zoo, to name a few.

NIGHT LIFE

Little Falls has several bars, at some you may catch a DJ night for some central Minnesota dance vibes. North of town there is the Starry Eyed Brewery and the recently updated bowling alley. The neighboring towns also have some places to check out.
