Cozy three-bedroom vintage inspired Bonavista home full of art and light, a five-minute walk from Church Street.

This bright, traditional and sunny two storey house is furnished with antique and one-of-a-kind furniture and stocked with great coffee, tea, and snacks. Records, books and vintage board games fill the living room shelves, and art by N.L. artist Jennah Turpin cover the walls. The private fenced in yard with a patio and hot tub can be enjoyed year round.

The space
The couch in the living room is massive and so very comfy. More than big enough for a stretch and an undisturbed afternoon nap. Throw on a few records while you do!

The TV uses Chromecast and the WiFi means you'll have no trouble streaming your favourite shows and movies. I also have a DVD player and have a small selection of movies to choose from. Sorry, cable is not offered.

There are cards and board games to play at the big kitchen table and an antique parlor set that makes for perfect reading spots.

There is one standard bathroom located downstairs with a bathtub and shower.

Upstairs, there are three bedrooms. Two bedrooms have a double bed, and the third small bedroom has a single bed. There is a single cot, mattress and sleeping bag if you need one. There are fans provided for hotter summer nights.

I have a privacy fence, 4 person hot tub and firepit in the backyard for guests to use. There are some string lights hung so you can relax or dine outside on warmer nights. The large patio has a picnic table, lots of seating and a bbq. A propane tank is provided, and i will do my best to keep it full for you.

We accept pets! Maximum is 2 per stay. There are no extra fees and you are required to disclose prior to your stay, but if the pet rules are not followed, extra cleaning fees may apply.

There are external cameras on the home for security purposes for all parties.

Guest access
You'll have access to the whole house! Including the big yard, hot tub and clothesline in the back.

Other things to note
There is all the fixings for oatmeal and pancakes with real maple syrup for breakfast. Make yourself a coffee with freshly ground coffee beans or a cup of tea with Tetley Orange Pekoe. Good Morning!

I am doing my best to reduce scent free products in my home. However, please be aware that I do use some. If you have scent allergies, contact us directly with questions or concerns.

We offer East Coast Glow products in our home!

I do have baby items (pack and play and high chair), and am happy to host children. Please message directly so I can do my best to accommodate you and see if my home is right for your family.

Unfortunately, my home is not accessible for wheelchair users and there are stairs that are a little bit narrow. The bathroom is also located on the main floor. Apologies!

Neighborhood highlights

The street is alive and on the go, and you can walk to Church Street in just a few minutes to find all of Bonavista's shops and restaurants as well as the historic Garrick Theatre. My home is in a real neighborhood where regular folks from Bonavista reside- this is not a tourist area of town. We do not have an ocean view, but the ocean is within walking distance.

My home is about 40 minutes from the Skerwink Trail and from Lockston Path Provincial Park, a great spot for swimming!
