The space
Bay Bato is a one-bedroom villa that is ideal for couples but can accommodate up to 4 guests. The king-size bed provides a cozy and restful sleep for 2, while a sofa bed or double floor mattress can be arranged to accomodate 2 more guests upon request. A total of 4 guests. But note that the price listed is for 2 guests only. There is an additional charge of PHP 2,500 per extra guest beyond two, with a maximum occupancy of 4 guests.
As our guests, you will enjoy the private infinity pool (NOT HEATED) with a stunning waterfall feature, offering a serene space to unwind while gazing at breathtaking views of Taal. The spa-like ensuite bathroom features an open design with tropical greenery, creating a unique and relaxing experience.
To make your stay even more comfortable, we provide toiletries and towels based on the number of guests. While breakfast is not included yet as of the moment, you can cook your own meals.
NO PORK POLICY – This property strictly prohibits pork and pork-based products due to our religious and cultural beliefs. Bringing or consuming pork inside the villa will result in a penalty of 10,000 pesos, plus the full cost of replacing any kitchen items, appliances, or utensils that come into contact with pork, and the cost of hiring a non-Muslim cleaning crew if necessary.
NO SMOKING AND VAPING POLICY – Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited inside the villa. Violation of this rule will result in a penalty of 10,000 pesos, plus any additional cleaning or deodorizing costs if required.
VIP Pick-Up and Drop-Off Service:
We offer a VIP pick-up and drop-off service for guests coming from Metro Manila at ₱10,000 all-in, inclusive of tolls, fuel, and driver fee.
For areas farther from Tagaytay, such as Novaliches, Caloocan, Fairview, and other outlying locations, an additional ₱1,500 applies. This is to account for the longer travel time, higher fuel consumption, and additional tolls required to reach these areas.

⚠️ Important Note:
Bay Bato is an overlooking property, which means getting to the villa requires descending several steep stairs from the parking area. Returning to the parking area involves climbing steep flights of stairs, which may be difficult for guests with mobility issues, elderly individuals, or those with heart conditions.
This villa is NOT recommended for those with mobility issues or heart problems. Guests book at their own risk, and we will not be liable for any difficulties experienced due to the stairs.
However, luggage assistance is available during check-in and check-out.

SMOKING/VAPING IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED INSIDE THE PROPERTY. Smoking Fine: Php 5,000.
If you want to smoke/vape, go outside the parking area.
PORK is STRICTLY NOT ALLOWED in the villa. Fine: 5,000 + amount paid to replace the kitchen items/equipment used.
No outside slippers are allowed inside the bedroom and bathroom. Disposable slippers are provided.
We kindly ask guests to conserve electricity by turning off lights when sleeping and use water efficiently, as water supply in this area of Tagaytay is available only three times per week.
The artificial waterfall is turned on upon check-in and will be turned off at 6:30 PM (or earlier upon request). Some guests may prefer a quieter setting.
The pool lights turn on at 6:30 PM and turn off at 5:00 AM.
NOTE that the pool is NOT heated yet as heating pumps are yet to be installed. This post will be updated once the heating system is in place. If a heated pool is a priority, we suggest checking other Airbnb options.
Since the pool is outdoor and surrounded by plants and trees, leaves, dust, insects and other debris may fall into the water, especially when the winds are strong. To help maintain a clean pool for your swimming, we kindly ask guests to use the provided pool skimmer (located beside the pool) to pick up floating leaves and dirt before they settle at the bottom. PLEASE NOTE again that our villa is nestled in a lush, nature-rich environment surrounded by trees and plants. However, being close to nature also means occasional visits from various kinds of insects, especially during the rainy season and at night when they are naturally drawn to lights.
While we do our best to maintain cleanliness and offer pool cleaning upon request, guests who are sensitive to insects or expecting a fully sealed, urban-type setup may wish to reconsider, this Airbnb might not be suitable for you.
BOOK AT YOUR OWN RISK, and only if you’re comfortable with the natural surroundings and the occasional presence of insects that come with it.
If you prefer, our caretaker/staff can clean the pool upon your request, anytime. Just let us know, and we’ll proceed with your permission.
However, if you prefer full privacy and do not wish to be disturbed by our caretaker, kindly pick up at least the leaves, insects, debris, etc when they enter the pool.
The villa has a fully equipped kitchen where guests can prepare their own meals.
Breakfast is not included.
Grocery & Food Purchasing Service is available upon request (with a fee). Foodpanda and Grabfood are also available.
IMPORTANT REMINDER FOR OUR GUESTS
Our villa is surrounded by beautiful, untouched nature, which also means you may encounter insects, frogs, and other small creatures. To prevent them from entering the villa, please keep the sliding doors closed at all times, especially so at night where they get attracted by lights.
If you prefer to open the sliding doors, please be aware that this increases the chance of insects or animals coming inside. Book at your own risk. If this kind of natural setting is not suitable for you, we respectfully suggest considering other accommodations.
Also, do not keep the sliding doors open while the aircon is running. This can cause the unit to leak and may lead to damage. If you plan to keep the doors open for more than 2 minutes, please turn off the aircon beforehand.
Mosquitoes may be noticeable between 5:00-7:00 PM. Insecticide is also provided.
In cases of electricity disruption, know that water will also be affected considering we are using an electric pump. It is beyond our control if it will be due to meralco interruptions/force majeure. We do not have back up generators for now. Book at your own risk.
From time to time, guests may hear light footsteps or movement on the ceiling, usually during late hours. These are likely our friendly neighborhood cats or dogs (yes, the eager ones looking for food!). While harmless, we understand this can be a little surprising. We’re still in the process of finding a safe and lasting solution to keep them from climbing up, and we appreciate your understanding as we work on it.
ALSO, please know that there is ONGOING CONSTRUCTION beside the villa, so some noise may be heard. To compensate, we are offering this special soft-opening price, giving you the rare opportunity to experience this luxury stay at a discounted rate.
