Basecamp Djupvik has one of the best views in the world, panorama of the Lyngen alps! Skiing from summit to sea in Lyngenfjord!

Experience and older traditional norwegian farmhouse, but still be comfortable with all moders facilities.

This is our family-vacations house :)

The space
The house:
- Living room with fireplace
- Kitchen, fully equipped + old fireplace/oven
- Kitchen storage room
- 1 bathroom on the main, but an additional toilet in the basement
- 6 comfortable bedspaces in 3 bedrooms, with thick duvets (4 beds: 180, 150, 90 + 90).
There is an extra bed (90 cm) if you would like to stay 7 people. It is in the room with the 2 other single beds, but note that there will then be no floorspace in that room.
- Hallway with storage for skiis/equipment

On the property:
- Skiing/hiking from the door
- Boathouse with fire pan
- "Summer house", 2 extra bedspaces in summer (jun-aug/sept)
- Farmyard for sunny days
- Terrace for morning coffe
- Barn, with wood supply
- Free parking in the driveway. A tractor clears it for snow, but you probably need to do some snow shoveling to the door. Note that other tourists may park on the property during your stay, but you access the main driveway and they are not allowed to block it.

Guest access
Guests have the whole house and can use the boathouse as pleased.

The "summer-house can house additional 2 guests in the summer.

Guests can access the barn if desired, but as for now it is used mostly for storage and wood supply.

- 24/7 grocery store 3km away "Snarkjøp"
- 25 min to Nordreisa (nearest town)
- 2,5-3h to Tromsø (2 routes, one with 2 ferry-rides that are beautiful, check Svipper)
- Beautiful nature spots/excursions/hikes in the area
- Perfect for skitouring, with lots of different peaks in various skill-levels. PLEASE be avare of avalance danger, and make safe decitions.
- Fishing possibilities and whale safari

Hi! My name is Hanna, and I live in northern Norway. I am originally from Ålesund (south west), but I moved here because I fell in love with the nature - and then later my husband Isak. Now we have two children and a couple of houses, on both sides of the Lyngenfjord. We love the outdoors and spending time in Lyngen, and when we are at home (2h away) we rent out to others who want to spend time by the beautiful fjord. Welcome to the Lyngen alps!
