This sweet cottage, named Sasanoa, is situated in a pine forest overlooking the Back River. It has full amenities, a queen bed in the bedroom, and a screened in porch to catch sunsets over the river.

The space
Sasanoa Cottage offers one bedroom and one bathroom. The bedroom has a queen bed and there is a single sofa sleeper in the living room. Linen Service (offered at an additional cost) includes sheets, towels and washcloths. If you don’t select Linen Service, please don’t forget to bring these items with you.

There is a fully equipped kitchen with basic appliances including a microwave, toaster and coffee pot. All basic dishes, cutlery, pots and pans are provided. There are paper products, coffee filters and drinking water available to begin your stay. Each cottage has a charcoal grill and there are large lobster pots stored in the gazebo garden shed for your use.

Hello! We are happy to share a little about us. Chris and I are currently building our own home, with our 2 children and our pets at our side. We are entrepreneurs and have started a few businesses over the years, mainly Suzie Automatic- a macbook decal design biz on Etsy and Docksmith- driftwood docking stations for smartphones and tablets. We have found that in Maine it is a good thing to be diversified in your endeavors. Including seasonal hobbies- we love to swim, hike, ski and enjoy all Maine has to offer. We both were born and raised here in Maine and have gone away for school and come back. Chris and I together have enjoyed traveling to France, Austria, Sweden and most recently had a wonderful visit to Quebec City. We are looking forward to meeting all the Airbnb-ers!
