The shops, restaurants and Crescent Head Bowling club are a flat, well lit, 5 to 10 minute walk.
For the four wheel drivers the beach access to the 11klms of firm sand of Killick beach is just up the road, as are the famous back beaches of Goolawah up to Point Plommer
If your unlucky enough to get a rainy day, drive the back road via Gladstone through the dairy country to South West rocks and visit the famous Trial Bay Goal.

Hi, I'm Brian and along with my wife of 30 years Karen we welcome you to Backdoor our home away from home. I'm a retired landscaper, now a part time TAFE teacher and a keen surfer and Karen runs a small bowel cancer related charity. We are both in our early 50s , our work commitments down the coast keep us from enjoying the property full time however, I am at the property most of the time we don't have guests. We have spent the last 12 months updating the home and feel the cool coastal feel reflects the Crescent Head ambience. Enjoy !!!
