A whimsical cottage in the forest.
Sunrise and sunset is just magic here on the wrap around deck! Inside is a kitchenette area and living room, stocked with endless games/books to get lost in on a rainy day! Upstairs is the lofted bedroom that just wants to pull you in for a mid day nap or cozy nights sleep!
Cottage sits on a knoll in the woods on 19 acres. Come enjoy the property and it’s trails or go explore the endless things to do in the Finger Lakes Region!
The space
Welcome to Emerald Pines, Woodland Retreat!
This semi-off grid cottage sits up overlooking the first “tier” of the property and pond. Surrounded by 19 acres of woods, and embraced by a 360 degree wrap around deck you can’t help but get lost in the view. Go for a stroll thru the acres of trails winding up and around the property!
Inside there is a living area with a tv/Roku stick that’s fully connected to wifi. Games and books are inside the tv stand, bookshelf and tucked away on every shelf for you to enjoy! The kitchenette has an electric kettle for water, a drinkable water cooler w/ hot water on tap, and a mini fridge for your drinks and perishables.
Being remote and wanting to keep the Inn clean and pest free so everyone can come and enjoy, we ask for no cooking inside. You are more than welcome to bring a camp grill and use it outdoors!
The outhouse is located by the parking area.
The land is shared with the host/owner (me) and 4 campsites dotted throughout. I have been working for the past three years to bring this property back to life, and am so happy to be able to share this magical spot with guests!
Daytime is fun, the golden hours twice a day that seem to last forever are amazing, but we can’t forget that starlit sky at night with no light pollution for miles.. and the sounds of owls calling to each other across the valley. All while you sit around a campfire of course! 😌🌌
Located in the heart of the Fingerlakes we have it all!
Foody? This is wine and potato country! 🍷🥔
We have everything from homemade chips from the pub in town, to fine dining on a hill with a mountain view! 🍽️
Like a good market? We have a ton with all locally sourced produce and products!🍇
Amish doughnuts? …Big as your head 🍩
Once you’re full with brunch from the Naples Hotel or The Old Schoolhouse, it’s time to hit the trails and maybe see some waterfalls!! 🥾
🛍️After popping into a shop or two, understandably..
Or maybe.. a boat or kayak rental on one of the many lakes? 🛶
How about wine tasting with a charcuterie board.. in a vineyard.. overlooking said lake? 🤌🏽🤌🏽 🧀
Guest access
The entire guest cottage, deck, yard and firepit leading up to it from the trail is for your private use during your stay! You also have access to the outhouse, the trails, and everything along the driveway leading up the hill to campsite #4.
The cabin at the top of the hill beyond campsite #4 and the surrounding yard it off limits.
Other things to note
To help keep the bug and tick free we do not allow any pets inside the guest cottage.
