There is a porta potty on site and a fully equipped bathhouse on the grounds with showers and laundry. You will be located only 2 miles from a beautiful lake (Cave Run Lake) and LOTS of amazing hiking. We hope you come and hang out in our neck of the woods and enjoy the true beauty of Kentucky!

Appalachian Hideaway is a simple, thoughtfully styled A-frame glamping hut with cozy, elevated touches. Inside you’ll find two twin beds on the main level and a lofted full bed.
The space includes a small prep station, standard coffee pot, REI water container, plus AC, electricity, and WiFi for a comfortable stay.
Enjoy your private fire pit after a day exploring nearby trails or the lake. Located within the campground loop, you’re just a short walk from all amenities.

Unauthorized late checkouts may incur a minimum $150 fee.
🐾 Pet Policy
Up to 2 dogs per hut are allowed with prior approval. Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pets and maintaining the space.
Additional or unauthorized pets may result in a fee of $100+ per pet. Excessive pet mess or damage may incur additional cleaning or repair fees.
