The cottage is renovated in a personal style, exceptionally quiet with a pleasant indoor climate.
You’ll be staying in one of the houses on a historic farm dating back to 1635.

A pleasant 200-metre walk takes you down to the lake, where you’ll find your own rowboat.
Fishing for household use is included exclusively for our guests.

Stay in a 300-year-old cottage on the historic Anderstunas Farm (est. 1635) – a traditional archipelago homestead carefully updated with modern comfort in a peaceful, private setting.
Ideal for 2 guests (max 4): one bedroom with a double bed, a sofa-bed for two in the living room, plus a wide single bed that can be moved in if needed.
The cottage features a fully equipped kitchen, a hot outdoor shower with garden view, and a well-kept traditional outdoor toilet in a separate little house.

Anderstunas Farm is just 10 km from Mariehamn.
It’s a 10-minute drive or a scenic 45-minute bike ride across the spectacular causeways linking the islands – an experience in itself.
Here you’ll enjoy the calm of the outer archipelago with the city’s restaurants, culture, and services close at hand.

The property is spacious and secluded – only the host and a few guests stay here.
Down by the private lake you’ll find a rowboat at the jetty; fishing for household use is reserved exclusively for our guests.
A sun-warmed rock ledge by the water is the perfect spot for relaxing in peace.

Please note that public transport is limited, running only on weekdays and with few departures in summer.
For more freedom and flexibility, you can rent an e-bike or a regular bike in Mariehamn from, for example, RoNo or Citysport – we recommend booking in advance to ensure availability.

THE ROAD IS AN ATTRACTION
Although it is possible to drive fast, you will certainly want to drive slowly. The road has been called "Åland's most beautiful road" and runs between islands on road banks. Many people usually take a bike ride out to the end of the road and back!

OPEN SEA AND COFFEE BREAD
The area you live in is one of the most attractive on Åland. The reasons are many. We recommend a picnic on the nature trail on Järsö, which gives you a view of the Åland Sea.

Our neighbor entices with good coffee bread. Stickstugan Hantverk & Café is a stone's throw away. A famous cafe with a fantastic garden and crafts. Do not miss it. It is worth a visit.
