Neighborhood highlights

Very close to the famous Parisian district "Le Marais", a 7-minute walk to the Picasso Museum, 9 minutes to Place des Vosges.

Saint-Paul, Place des Vosges
Artists, creators, new trends... A lively Paris awaits you. In the village of Saint Paul, which surrounds the street of the same name, take an improvised romantic stroll in its inner courtyards. And why not take a stroll, to soak up the many creators, antique dealers and galleries? Before heading to the lively Marais, check out the sublime Hôtel de Beauvais (68 rue François Miron) where Mazarin, Anne of Austria and Mozart loved to go. Pass by the Hôtel Sens, which is reminiscent of a castle with its medieval city architecture (1 Rue du Figuier).

Small restaurants, bars, café-theaters and trendy shops mingle with the charm of this historic district. Rue Vieille du Temple has many rows of beautiful mansions. The old storefronts and workshops of Rue des Francs Bourgeois and Rue Roi de Sicile bear witness to the working-class character of the neighborhood of yesteryear: at No. 30, discover an old mosaic butcher shop.

A little further on, the pedestrian street of Rosiers, in the heart of the old Jewish quarter, is a compilation of falafel snacks, old Ashkenazi shops and old picturesque houses. If you feel it's time to rest, head to Place des Vosges, a peaceful square where Victor Hugo, Théophile Gautier and Simenon lived. Lined with tea rooms, boutiques and antique shops, it was, after the Kings, the favorite place of the upper middle class, bankers and wealthy merchants. Before you leave, don't forget to visit the Hôtel de Sully in pure Renaissance style, where scenes from the film "Dangerous Liaisons" were shot. Its library is also very beautiful.
