Located on a large lot with mature trees, Amble Lane is just a short walk from all Port Elgin has to offer. Whether you are looking to enjoy Lake Huron's beautiful sunsets, play on Port Elgin's sandy beaches, hike on the Bruce Trail, or simply explore what the area has to offer, Amble Lane's fully-equipped cottages will provide you and your family with all of the amenities you will need to make your vacation one to remember!

Amble Lane Cottage are the perfect get away for your whole family to enjoy!
Just a short walk to the main beach, or the main strip. Rent one cottage to have all to yourself, or book all 3 and invite your friends & family to join you!

Summer rentals are Saturday to Saturday. Monthly rentals are available off season. Please contact us for off season rates.

The beach boasts 10km of fine sandy beach. With glittering warm water so delightful, it was thought to be medicinal in the 1920's! The water has sandbars that make it shallow even far out, warming the water and making it a safer place for young children to swim. The main beach also has a playground, washroom and showers!

Head out to a local restaurant for dinner, or have a BBQ out back. The location of our cottages meet everyone's vacation dreams!

Each of our 2-bedroom cottages comes fully equipped with:

Our cottages are fully sanitized after each rental. However, guests are required to leave the cottage as they found it.

Entire cottage. Each cottage has it's own outdoor space, BBQ, fire pit and picnic table.

PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN:
o Linens – bed, bath & kitchen
o Bath mat & no slip mat for the tub
o Pillows & blankets
o Large garbage bags
o Paper products (tissue, paper towels, toilet paper)
o Beach towels
o DVD movies, if desired
o Firewood
o Cleaning supplies – shampoo, hand soap, dish soap etc.
o Kitchen has dishes, utensils, pots & pans. Please bring all other cooking essentials.

My husband and I are co-owners of Amble Lane Cottages. We love Port Elgin and the surrounding area! Between the sandy beach, the shopping, hiking trails and weekend events, it's hard to beat a summer vacation on Lake Huron. Our favourite thing about Amble Lane Cottages is the proximity to everything that makes a summer vacation memorable. The cottages are perfect for young families looking for a summer getaway, for couples looking for the best spot to catch a world-famous Lake Huron sunset, and for time away with friends.
