🦟 Seasonal Notice
From December to March, you may notice some mosquitoes after 5–6 PM. They’re harmless but love warm indoor spaces — so please keep windows and balcony doors closed after sunset to avoid unexpected dinner guests 😅. Thanks for your understanding!
🐜 Tropical Country Notice
Remember, Costa Rica has a tropical climate, which means insects are naturally more active in warm and humid environments, especially at night.
Even though we fumigate every 3 months using organic, non-toxic certified products, it’s still possible to see a few tiny sugar ants or other small visitors. Don’t worry — they’re harmless and only looking for food (not you 😄). In Costa Rica, we usually just wipe them with vinegar and they’re gone!
To help minimize any unwanted visitors inside the apartment, please follow these simple recommendations:
• Clean spills immediately, especially sugary, greasy, or starchy ones.
• Store all food in sealed, airtight containers.
• Clean kitchen appliances regularly (fridge, oven, microwave, toaster), including behind and under them.
• Avoid leaving dirty dishes in the sink for long periods.
• After your pet eats, remove any leftover food promptly.
• Take out the trash frequently and make sure bags are tightly closed.
• Avoid accumulating boxes, newspapers, or cardboard — insects love to hide there.
• Keep storage areas dry; moisture attracts insects.
• Report any water leaks immediately so we can address them quickly.
These small steps go a long way in keeping your space fresh, clean, and comfortable throughout your stay 🌿

Per building administration rules, the following amenities require prior booking (1 hour per apartment per session):

Important Pool Rules:
Walking through common areas or using elevators while wet or in swimwear is strictly prohibited.
This rule is enforced by building security and administration, and violations may result in fines or penalties.
How to Book Amenities:
Simply send us a message at least 24 hours in advance specifying which amenity you’d like to use.
Tip: Please provide a couple of preferred time slots — if one is taken, we’ll reserve your backup option.

⚡️ Lights & Electricity Use
We kindly ask for your help conserving energy:
• Turn off lights, air conditioning, fans, and appliances when not in use or when leaving the apartment.
• Avoid leaving appliances running unattended.
• Keep windows and doors closed while using the A/C to maintain efficiency and comfort.
💧 Water Usage
Water is a precious resource in Costa Rica. Please help us save it:
• Turn off faucets tightly after use.
• Take reasonable-length showers to avoid waste.
• Report any leaks or dripping taps immediately.
🚽 Proper Toilet Use
To prevent plumbing issues and keep the system working smoothly:
• Only toilet paper should be flushed.
• Do not flush wipes, feminine products, paper towels, or any other items (even if labeled “flushable”).
• Use a reasonable amount of toilet paper.
• Dispose of all other waste in the provided bin.
⚠️ Note: Blockages can be very costly and may require your cooperation if improper items are flushed. Thank you for your understanding.
🍳 Appliance Use
Please treat all appliances with care:
• Read and follow the instructions for each appliance.
• Avoid overloading the washer or dryer.
• Clean the microwave, oven, and toaster after use to prevent buildup.
• Never place metallic objects inside the microwave.
• Do not leave the stove, iron, or any appliance running unattended.
• Report any malfunctioning appliance as soon as possible.
📲 Smart Devices & Controls
Some apartments are equipped with smart locks, gateways, sensors, and smart A/C controls for your comfort and safety.
• These systems are automatically managed — please do not unplug, reset, or manipulate them.
• If you experience any issue with locks, gateways, or A/C controls, just notify us — we can handle it remotely or send assistance if needed.
• Tampering with these devices may cause loss of access, system errors, or unnecessary service calls.
