Alsaudade is half an hour from Toledo and the Puy du Fou theme park by car. On the lower floor, it has two bedrooms and a bathroom and on the upper floor a suite with a bathroom included. There are also two extra single beds that allow up to 8 guests to be accommodated. The extra beds can be used, even if there are six or fewer guests. We also have a playpen-crib for babies.

The house has a backyard with a barbecue where we put a pool in summer.

There is a lot of countryside to enjoy taking pleasant walks with spectacular sunsets.

Where you’ll be

Alcabón, Castilla-La Mancha, Spain

The house is in the best part of town. Next to the imposing church of Santo Tomás de Castuarense and very close to the Town Hall and the doctor's office. There are three restaurants and the best known is the restaurant-museum "La Almazara", famous for its stews, although they also make spectacular paellas. An old restored oil mill, worth visiting. If you ask, they can give you a guided tour.

We are Carla and Pedro. An Iberian marriage that we like to bring together the cultures of our two countries of origin: Portugal and Spain. It's a pleasure for us to invite you to our home. We named it Alsaudade because we live in Spain and have Portugal's Saudade. In addition we wanted to give an Arabic touch to the name, because one of us was born in Melilla and Moroccan culture joins Iberica. Also for making a nod to the names of cities and towns that have impacted our lives: Algés (Oeiras) where Carla was born, Alcorcón (Madrid) where we live and Alcabón (Toledo), where we invite you to spend some quiet and relaxed days in which you can get to know the area (including the city of Toledo that is a stone's throw away) or just do nothing.
