As of July 2023 – We’ve upgraded to commercial-grade wireless fiber optics for 150 Mbps download and upload. It’s the fastest Wi-Fi connection for any Airbnb on the island, so working remotely from paradise has never been easier.
🏠 April 2024: The kitchen has been completely remodeled, with new cabinets and all cracks patched up, ensuring a bug-free environment. Let us know immediately if you experience any issues—we’ve taken every measure to eliminate past concerns.
⚡ June 2024: A new Auto Transfer Switch is now in place, ensuring that the backup generator kicks in automatically during power outages, keeping your stay uninterrupted.

This single-family property is fully equipped with a backup electric generator and reserve water tanks, ensuring your stay is undisturbed even in the event of a utility disruption.

🌴 A True Beachfront Experience
Aguada Del Mar is perched right on the ocean, which means salt, wind, and humidity are a constant presence. Everything eventually rusts and wears down—it’s just part of the coastal lifestyle. If you experience an issue with an appliance (gate motor, washer, dryer, A/C, TV, etc.), please let us know immediately, and we’ll get it fixed as soon as possible. Managing expectations is key—this is a true waterfront home in the tropics!
🏡 Additional Guest Fee Policy:
We love hosting groups of all sizes and want to ensure everyone has a comfortable and enjoyable stay! Our base price includes up to 8 guests, and for larger groups, there’s a small additional fee of $25 per guest per night to help cover extra utilities, linens, and cleaning. We can accommodate up to 12 guests total.

🐱 A Note About Stray Cats
The neighborhood has a few friendly (but uninvited) stray cats that sometimes wander near the beach. If they get too close, a simple hiss will send them on their way!
🚗 Weekend Traffic & Noise
On weekends, the area sees more tourists and traffic, which may bring some extra noise from the street side of the property.
🏡 Guest Policy & Events
No events or gatherings without prior approval from the Host and Property Manager.
Only registered guests are allowed on the property unless arranged in advance.
Violating these rules will result in immediate removal from the property.

Aguada Del Mar is one of the few properties in the area with independent utilities. Thanks to our 27.5 kW diesel generator, you’ll have uninterrupted power—even during island-wide outages. Rest easy knowing your stay won’t be disrupted!
