Legacy Lakehouse is located at Acre Lake on Lakeview Drive in a lovely Northeastern Pennsylvania Community. Ski at nearby Elk Mountain (10 miles away) during the winter or catch some fish on this 40-acre lake year-round, Then, sit back and enjoy the peaceful private accommodations that this newer furnished home has to offer. This 3-bedroom, 2 bathrooms, includes 4 smart TVs, extra space in the basement, a full-size washer and dryer, fishing boat w/ trolling motor, pedal boat and 2-person kayak!

The space
With many choices of lake houses to choose from, Legacy provides plenty of privacy between neighbors, as well as 3 of our mountain acres behind. Acre lake will never be overpopulated, and the location of our lake house offers quiet fishing experiences, yet motorboats and jet skis are also allowed in most other parts of the lake. We also offer early check-in times and late check-out times (upon request when booking), so you don't feel rushed at any time during your stay.

We rent out the full property, so there is no sharing with anyone else.

Other things to note
While our lake house can accommodate 8 people comfortably, and guests are welcome to have small gatherings, with plenty of outdoor space on our deck and in our backyard.

We are located 30 minutes from Binghamton New York, and only 2.5 hours away from NYC.

We now accept pets! Up to 2, $100 additional cleaning fee required.

For the best guest experience, we have chosen not to do back-to-back bookings. We believe our guests should not be rushed out at a certain time. We also want to be sure that any repairs or maintenance can be done between rentals.

I am an Arizona native, while my husband grew up in North Eastern Pennsylvania. For over 15 years, we have owned over 3 acres at Acre Lake, and planned on eventually building a home there, to enjoy during the summer months. Back in 2020, we found this beautiful home for sale that sits next to, and in front of our property. Now, we get to share this lake house with others.
