The space
Welcome to our little cutie studio on the 5th Avenue! Nestled on the top floor of the 102-year-old Historical Site building, this unit boasts a 11-foot-high ceiling and ample natural light. Blended with modern décor and lush plants, this pied-a-terre has become the perfect home base for business travelers and tourists alike.

Location
Travel is all about location, location, location! We are centrally located in downtown/Belltown, on the intersection of 5th Avenue and Blanchard. Amazon headquarters, aka The Spheres, is literally 1 block away! Westlake center light rail station is 4 blocks, and Space Needle is 12 mins on foot. For breakfast, we have the Seattle legendary Top Pot Doughnuts next door. For grocery, Whole Foods and H Mart (Asian grocery chain) are both within minutes of walking. Along with numerous restaurants, shops, cinemas and theaters nearby, our location is truly immersive of a full vibrant city life.

Sleeping
Enjoy a restful night’s sleep in a plush queen-size bed with a 10-inch mattress. We use only premium sateen cotton beddings. For additional guests, the sofa can be pulled out to be a full-size bed (good for 2 adults). It’s not as soft as the regular mattress, but kids generally love it.

Kitchen
The fully-equipped kitchen is perfect to cook up a fancy dinner or heat up a quick meal. The gas range and dishwasher are brand new. In particular, we take pride in our coffee and tea selection that will get you kick-started for the whole new day.

• And of course, plants! All plants in the studio are real and living! We love gardening and simply can’t hide our enthusiasm. Should I mention that we even have a mini waterfall Zen corner?

We are on the 3rd floor. This building does NOT have an elevator.

Being fully immersed in the city buzz, we also present you (not so proudly) the noise and homelessness on the street. As a super host, we want to ensure that our guests have a pleasant stay without any surprises. The 5th Avenue is a busy traffic street and the Monorail runs on it too. This historic building has single-pane windows, so you will hear some of the noises. To some, this is a deal breaker. But to others, it’s more fun to watch the Monorail train gliding by outside the window. It’s all part of the urban experience. For the light sleepers, we also provide a white noise sound machine and comfy earplugs.

Homelessness has been a long-standing social issue in metropolitan Seattle, especially downtown. So be ready to see them loiter or even hear them curse on the street. Like in all major cities like NYC, SF and LA, the general advice is to not engage or confront. They are generally pretty good at leaving you alone.

That said, this studio is never meant to be a 5-star Westin suite saturated with opulence and sophistication. But care and love transformed it into a 5-star cute little gem with convenience and liveliness. The only missing piece now is the guests :)
