The space
Wake @ Wimbie is fully renovated and offers two comfortable bedrooms. Bedroom one has a queen bed and direct access to the back deck - on quiet nights you can hear the waves at Wimbie Beach. Ample storage is available if you feel like unpacking with a full wardrobe and 6 drawer dresser.
Bedroom two also has a queen bed and bunk beds. A portacot is available if you require it. Bedroom two also has tennis rackets and balls, and a block out blind to ensure a decent nights sleep for all.
The kitchen is fully equipped with cooking utensils, cookbooks, four slice toaster, electric stove and oven, brand new dishwasher and fridge/freezer as well as a Nespresso coffee pod machine. Several local takeaway menus are located in the bottom drawer in the kitchen. For your convenience dish liquid, dishwasher tablets, multipurpose spray and paper towel are provided for your stay.
The living and dining area are spacious and modern with two and three seater lounges, providing ample seating to enjoy a movie on Netflix on the 55inch smart TV, or from one of the provided DVD's in the cupboard. The dining table seats six and there is a foldup high chair available in the second bedroom (wardrobe) if required. There is a little stereo system as well as Bluetooth speakers if you want to listen to some music or a podcast. There are plenty of games and books for the kids in the cupboard.
The outdoor space is incredible! It is private, spacious and has a distinct tropical vibe! It has an electric BBQ so you will not need to worry about a gas bottle, the outdoor setting seats 6. We also have a bug zapper available for those summer nights out on the deck.
The laundry has an ASKO front loader machine and there is a large clothes airer available that will fit all your towels. The front courtyard also has a washing line and is a nicely landscaped area leading up several stairs to the carport. One additional allocated car space is located near the tennis court if required (shown on complex map in touchstay guide sent when you book). There is parking on the street for large or longer vehicles if required.
The complex is home to many permanent residents so there is a STRICT NO PARTY policy and no schoolies bookings will be accepted.
Additional fees may be incurred if;
a- the number of guests present, exceeds the number of guests booked
b- additional cleaning time is required as a result of your stay (including the BBQ)
c- any damage is incurred beyond what is considered reasonable wear and tear.
This is a NON SMOKING property - inside and out.
Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate furry, scaly or winged friends.

Guest access
There is one covered carport at the entrance to the unit. One additional car space is available as indicated on the complex map, provided at booking. There is limited boat parking within the complex and ample street parking. Please only park in the DESIGNATED car spaces for the unit.
You will have the property to yourselves but please note the complex is home to many permanent residents so there is a strict NO PARTY and NO LATE NOISE policy.
No schoolie bookings will be accepted. Additional fees may be incurred if this is not adhered to.
Other things to note
BYO - Beach / Pool Towels.
A starter supply of coffee pods, dishwasher tablets and toiletries are included for your convenience. For longer stays, you may want to stock up on your own.
We recommend you bring mozzie spray if staying in the warmer months.
If you leave an item behind and require it to be posted, there will be a $20 charge + postage.
An additional cleaning fee of $50 will be incurred if the BBQ requires cleaning after your stay.
