‘Rosetta Barn’ is a NEW 1 bedroom apartment located in the beautiful, green suburb of Morningside/Windermere in Durban, KZN. This unique apartment has ‘barn-style’ charm when you arrive, and modern comforts when you are inside.

You have your own private entrance (no shared spaces) with direct access from a single garage, an outside patio to relax, suntan, or have a braai, as well as a smart HD TV where you can stream and catch-up on the latest movies or series. Air-conditioning and free Wi-Fi.

The space
Your privacy is guaranteed! It is a self-catering lock-up-and-go unit, which is great for couples, tourists, one-man adventurers, and business travellers who want to kick-off their shoes and relax hassle-free.

It is an open-plan unit with modern/luxurious décor/comforts. The bedroom has a queen-sized bed for 2 people sharing, a brand new aircon and lovely built-in cupboards for generous unpacking space, a two-seater sofa in the lounge (not for extra sleeping) and a modern bathroom.

The outside courtyard/patio has a beautiful table and chairs with a Weber braai as well as a wash-up area for your convenience.

The modern kitchen is well-equipped with a kettle, coffee maker, countertop hob-oven, bar fridge, microwave, toaster, cutlery, crockery, glasses, and a ceiling fan.

The open plan lounge has a comfortable two seater sofa, coffee table, ceiling fan, and a smart HD TV. The modern bathroom features a shower, basin and a toilet all with Italian fittings.

There is a groundsman on site who is there to assist during your stay. The premises is surrounded with electric fencing, there is CCTV at the entrance, and the unit has an alarm system. Free WiFi from fibre internet.

Guest access
Private entrance (no shared spaces) with direct access from a single lock-up garage (1 car only) to the apartment. The garage is 5.4meters in length, and there is an alarm system and CCTV covering the garage door entrance.

The apartment is a single step up from the garage floor level, and then the whole apartment and patio are all on the same level.

Parking is also free on the road, so guests can park on the road at their own risk.

Electric fencing is around the property.

Located in the beautiful, green suburb of Morningside/Windermere in Durban. According to the previous owner who lived on the property for about 30years, the building dates from the early 1900s and was probably a coach house or stables for horses, and the land itself was part of a larger dairy farm stretching across several properties that you see today. The wider Morningside area is one of Durban’s oldest suburbs, and there are dozens of historic buildings, including Edwardian structures that are more than 100 years old.
