Generally, it's quiet and peaceful. There are not many homes being used full time, so traffic is usually minimal. One can hear the sea at night. Garbage & garden refuge collection is on a Tuesday. Wildlife in the neighborhood consists of Cape Spurfowl, Guinea fowl, plovers, Cape tortoise, Cape grey mongoose and a variety of birds. There is a large play park for younger children within a short walking distance.
