8weeks Studio is a fully renovated flat located in a small town shopping district, a 4-minute walk from Fujimi Station. The building, which has been used as a barbershop for over 50 years, has been renovated and reborn as a natural wine bar on the first floor and an Airbnb on the second floor!
The guest space is a combination of a living room, dining room, and kitchen with hardwood floors and a bedroom with tatami mats and a sliding door, a fusion of modern and retro styles.
Fujimi-cho is an area famous for mountain biking and hiking in the rich nature. Fujimi Shopping Street, where unique shops such as craft liquor stores, morning cafes, roasters, bookshops, Chinese restaurants, record stores, and wine bars have been opening one after another in recent years, is a hotspot in Japan that has not yet been discovered! Why don't you feel the local vibes of nature and culture mixed together?

Heptapod, on the ground floor of the building, is a wine and side dish shop. Please enjoy the owner's special meals and wines!

■ There is a bathroom with a bathtub and a unit bath type with a toilet. The sink is provided separately, and towels are stored in the cabinet opposite the sink. Feel free to use them.

2nd floor
■ The living room, dining room, kitchen, and bedroom are compact.

■ From the back bedroom, you can see a little bit of Yatsugatake, and when you look down from the window, you can feel the nostalgic atmosphere of the shopping street.

■ Nishikawa air mattresses (made in Japan) are used for bedding to help you rest from your travels.

■ We also have a full set of dishes, such as glasses, so we recommend that you take a train to visit the breweries in Suwa and slowly taste the sake you like!

I run our “8 Weeks Fujimi” lodging while raising my 6-year-old daughter amid the lush natural surroundings of Nagano. My husband, daughter, and I moved here from Kanagawa Prefecture in August 2020.
