The space
57° North is a modern architecturally built eco home that boasts solar hot water, underfloor heating and a wood burning stove, which helps to make it exceptionally cosy, no matter the outside elements.
The spacious entrance porch is the perfect place to leave your boots and jackets after a full day exploring.
Leading to the open plan Kitchen and Dining room you will be greeted by spectacular views out to Loch Snizort, through vaulted floor to ceiling windows.
The kitchen is fully equipped for your comfort and convenience with integrated appliances including dishwasher, induction hob, oven, microwave, fridge freezer, nespresso coffee machine and kettle/toaster.
Adjacent to the Kitchen is the utility room with a useful double sink, washing machine, tumble dryer and heated drying rack.
Savour your time together sharing meals around our glass dining table that comfortably seats 8. Direct access from the dining room through patio doors to the garden allow you to let the outside in on summer evenings. Enjoy the spectacular sunsets that can often be observed or in the winter try and catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights as you look up the Loch.
The lounge area adjacent to the kitchen features understated luxury and is the perfect place to relax. Sink into one of two large 4 seater vintage Timothy Oulton sofas whilst enjoying a dram of whiskey in front of the Morso Woodburner. Guest access
You will have exclusive private access of the entire home and grounds throughout your stay.
Other things to note
You will have quiet enjoyment of the entire property, in case of need you are welcome to contact us or our housekeeper and we will do our best to assist.
Pond on land which is fenced off however children must be supervised at all time.
The house is nestled amongst working croft land, often with grazing sheep up to boundaries, as a result pets are not allowed.
No Events, Parties or Filming allowed.
