Welcome to your dream escape—an updated, light-filled three-bedroom, two-bathroom bungalow tucked among the treetops and designed for effortless indoor/outdoor living. Just a quick 8-minute walk from the ferry and 4-minutes to the newly expanded beach, this home has everything you need for a relaxed and memorable experience. From the moment you arrive, you’ll feel like you’ve truly escaped.
Be welcomed into a spacious, open-concept layout thoughtfully designed for both connection and comfort. The living room invites you to unwind by the cozy fireplace, all set within a relaxed modern coastal aesthetic. Just steps away, the kitchen—with its oversized island and bar seating—seamlessly flows into the living area, making it easy to cook, converse, and entertain without missing a moment.
Each of the three bedrooms is thoughtfully designed for your comfort. Two have twin XL beds that can convert into true kings, and the third features standard twin beds. Two bedrooms share a Jack-and-Jill bath (or is that Jack-and-Jack? Jill-and-Jill? You decide!), while the third bedroom and living space share the second full bath. All bedrooms include individually adjustable AC splits, and ceiling fans.
Step outside and unwind across three unique outdoor spaces. The middle deck off of the living room offers modern patio seating, a dining table with umbrella, and a gas BBQ grill—perfect for easy meals and laid-back lounging. Head down to the lower deck to find a heated pool, hot tub for six, outdoor shower, umbrellas, lounge chairs, and another dining area—everything you need to relax and recharge. Want something quieter? The rooftop garden deck offers a peaceful retreat to sip your morning coffee or take in the sound of the ocean.
We’re not absentee hosts. We stay at the house monthly to keep it in top shape—just as we’d want it for ourselves. Every photo in our listing is dated by month and year, so you know exactly what to expect. We're always updating the home and do our best to document improvements as they happen.

• Early check-in and late check-out may be available upon request for an additional fee. Requests are subject to availability and depend on our housekeeping schedule, as well as any reservations immediately preceding or following your stay.
• We are dog-friendly and welcome up to one dog weighing 25 lbs or less. A $150 pet fee applies per stay. When making your reservation, simply indicate that you'll be bringing a dog, and Airbnb will automatically add the pet fee to your booking total. Please note that cats and other pets are not permitted.
• Please Report Any Issues. To ensure you have a comfortable and enjoyable stay, please don’t hesitate to reach out if anything unexpected arises or if you encounter any issues. We strive to provide a 5-star experience, and if something isn’t as expected, let us know right away so we can address and resolve it promptly.

After years of renting in the Pines, the 4 of us—2 married couples—decided to purchase a home at the end of 2023. This will be our 3rd season on Airbnb and our goal as owners is to stay hands-on, keeping the home well-maintained and thoughtfully updated. We're out here at least once a month, which has allowed us to make meaningful improvements.
And yes, as you might expect, the 2-year-old & new born (not pictured) are clearly running the show.
