On the Atlantic shore in Cape Town, with Table Mountain across the bay. The apartment occupies the corner of the second floor, set within a private beachfront estate. Glass on two sides, a wrap-around balcony following the building's edge, and an open plan that gives every room the same view. Modern interiors, quiet palette, considered finishes. The light is the thing: long and gold in the late afternoon, clean over the water at first light.

The space
108 square metres in total. Two bedrooms (a king and a twin) and two bathrooms, arranged so the corner of the living room is always the best seat in the house. The kitchen opens to the dining and lounge, which open to the balcony, which opens to the sea. There is a soft hierarchy to how the space unfolds: cook, sit, step outside, repeat.

Downstairs, the estate has two pools, twenty-four hour security, and private access to the sand directly in front of the building.
