The space
Welcome to your private Central Coast retreat! This bright and beautifully appointed studio ADU offers the perfect blend of comfort, privacy, and convenience, just minutes from downtown San Luis Obispo, Cal Poly, award-winning wineries, hiking trails, beaches, restaurants, shopping, and everything the Central Coast has to offer.
The studio is completely private and separate from the main house. It features a fully equipped kitchen, stackable washer and dryer, Smart TV, high speed Wi-Fi, a comfortable living area, and thoughtful amenities to help you feel right at home, whether you’re visiting for a weekend getaway or an extended stay.
To access the studio, walk up the exterior stairs on the right side of the house when facing the property. You may also enter or exit using the exterior stairs from the spacious shared deck. The deck is a wonderful place to relax with your morning coffee or unwind in the evening while enjoying the beautiful San Luis Obispo weather. Please note that the deck is shared with guests staying in the main house.
Street parking is provided for studio guests. Please do not park in the driveway or in front of neighboring homes in the cul-de-sac, as we strive to be respectful of our wonderful neighbors.
To provide the cleanest and most comfortable environment for all guests, pets are not permitted anywhere on the property.

Guest access
Guests have private access to the entire studio ADU through a dedicated keypad entry. To reach the studio, walk along the right side of the house and up the exterior staircase to your private entrance. The studio includes a fully equipped kitchen, stackable washer and dryer, Smart TV, high speed Wi-Fi, and a convenient outdoor sink just outside the entrance.
Guests are also welcome to enjoy the spacious shared deck, which offers beautiful hillside and neighborhood views. The deck is shared with guests staying in the main house and is a wonderful place to enjoy your morning coffee, a glass of wine at sunset, or simply relax after a day of exploring.
Our location makes it easy to experience San Luis Obispo without getting in your car. Downtown shops, restaurants, coffee houses, tasting rooms, and the Thursday Night Farmers’ Market are within walking distance via the scenic Railroad Safety Trail and pedestrian bridge. A neighborhood park is also just down the street.

Lives in San Luis Obispo, California
I grew up in Aptos, which is close to Santa Cruz, and came to SLO in 1996, to attend Cal Poly. At first, I was skeptical of SLO and the surrounding areas, having been raised near some of the best beaches in the world. I quickly grew to love the Central Coast. My main objective has always been to raise my kids in an environment that is safe, sparks creativity, and has diverse things to offer, such as amazing hikes and beaches. I have a degree in microbiology, but after graduating from Cal Poly, I needed a more flexible job, and obtained my brokers license as well. I decided to Airbnb the house because my daughter lives in Washington and my son is now in Connecticut. I wanted to be able to spend time with them, explore, and travel.
